My name is Michelle and I am a wife, mom to three littles and with my mom, co owner of Sugarbakers Cookie Co.
Memories made in the kitchen were a big part of my childhood. I can still remember sneaking out of my room the night before my birthday and watch my mom decorate a beautiful cake into the early hours of the morning. When I had my own kids I knew I wanted to carry on the tradition and I asked my mom to teach me how to make her royal icing cookies.
I truly fell in love with the process of decorating and I loved the sense of calm I felt when I zeroed in on a cookie. I told my mom we were going into business together. She told me no. And here we are!
For me this is so much more than perfectly decorated cookies. Its about the food that brings us together and lets us gather with friends and family in celebration of the people we love. It is such a honour to be a small part of important celebrations and milestones in people lives.
